Hello world! My names Jake and I’m here to share my avatar with you. In this post I will explain why i chose these colours and features I chose this hair because pretty much every single day I have different types of hair styles but mostly this type. My colour in my hair is red that is because I have red hair and I like it. Another feature of my avatar is white pants that is because I like the colour white and white looks cool. My last feature is my expression it is happy because I am all ways happy well at least that is what I wished.

In this post I will explain the following questions that’s our teacher has
assigned us to do.

(1) what is your favourite genre? Mine is scary/sad senior fiction and a book I’m reading at the moment is “War Is Over”, which I would recommend for year 5 and up.its about a boy called John and he try’s to fined he’s parents in war one of his best friends billy who is from Germany has been shot and know John is furious and set to fined the man that killed billy. I’m still reading the book but when I finish it I will give another update on the story comment if you think you know what’s going to happen next.

(2) Are you reading a book that you like or are interested in.I’m loving the book ”Horrid Henry and the Zombie Vampire” It has a number of story’s in the book the story I’m reading at the moment is “Horrid Henry needs some money” but I’ll tell you what happened soon it going to be a surprise but let me give you a little hint it’s funny but also scary.

Dear future year 4s 

 I hear your coming to year 4 next year 

Here are three things you need to know

. You need to put in your best effort to complete tasks and finish work.

.You need knowledge, you need resilience and you need courage in year 4

. The last thing you need is kindness you need kindness  example a time I showed kindness was at a party I won a chocolate bar and I gave it to a 5 year old girl.

Two things to look forward to

. You can look forward to our camp in term 2 it will be very fun.

. You can look forward to meeting your year 2 buddies and fun in your house group games.

One thing I will always remember from Mrs Burns and Mrs Haines saying if you make a mistake you’re learning more.

 Nativity

At the end of term 4 we did a nativity play that was based on the birth of Jesus I got the roll Augustus Caesar which is very cool and is just like king Herod but is Herod is a king 👑. My favourite part of the nativity was creating the props we made the manger and it was so good it took a lot of effort but we got there And it turned out really well.

This term we have been judging the CBCA short list books we could rate a score out of 30 points at the end of the judging we had a  vote of the book we thought were the best. I think a good book needs punctuation, detail and descriptions. My favourite book was Bouncing Back and my author ROHAN CLEAVE and CORAL TULLOCH. Bouncing Back had good text and described about what had happened. I really liked the Book Bouncing back.

This semester we designed our own science Experiments I was lucky enough to work with Sophie and our Experiment was pretty fun but a bit dangerous as well. I really in joyed our Experiment.

Book week 2019 reading is my super power

King Arthur and the knights of the round table written Roger Lancelyn Green. King Arthur sat around a round table with his knights. The round table had no Position as a head of the table, meaning that everyone who sat there had equal status. The legend has it that a young Arthur meets Merlin and draws a mighty sword from it’s stone. The story brings to life the adventures of King Arthur and his knights from the quest for the Holy Grail to the final tragedy of the Last Battle. This story falls under the genre of Historical fiction.

Community service

For 2 weeks 4HB tried to raise as much money as they could for the Salvation Army.  They bought the toiletries from chemist warehouse they bought things like toothbrushes, baby wipes ,tooth paste , body soap, shampoo conditioner and some other things that I raised $57.90 and I ended up spending $50 on chemist warehouse things for the Salvation Army to give to the homeless.
